Mr. Mc Lean currently holds the post of Research Fellow at the HEU, Centre for Health Economics, he is also a part time Lecturer in the Department of Economics, at the University of the West indies, St. Augustine Campus, T&T.
Mr. McLean has been conducting research in Health & Social Issues for the past 20 years covering such areas as Health Sector Reform and Sexual and Reproductive Health, Drug Abuse, Poverty and Ageing, and its impact both within the local & regional economies.
Mr. Mc. Lean has been involved in a number of technical advisory committees both at a national & regional level, including PAHO/WHO Technical Advisory Group on HIV/AIDS, The Priority Areas Advisory Committee of the Pan Caribbean Partnership on HIV/AIDS (PANCAP) & the Regional Technical Working Group on Information Systems for Health. Mr. Mc Lean is one of the founding members of the UWI HIV-AIDS Response Programme (UWIHARP).
